Power Battery Backup PB2000
The PB2000-ITS automatically provides emergency backup power to traffic signals and controls whenever normal electrical power is lost. It regulates voltage to maintain normal operation during brownouts and power spikes, reducing the risk of dangerous intersection collisions caused by ‘dark’ signals, thereby minimizing the need for law enforcement and emergency personnel resources. It also reduces component damage and signal technician callouts due to power failures.
With the new web card, connecting to the Oriux PB2000 via Ethernet is easier than ever. Users can now set up multiple accounts and check the current status from anywhere using most web browsers. The new firmware also sends email notifications.
