The Oriux NEMA TS2 Cabinet Power Supply is a shelf-mounted unit designed to deliver all the regulated DC and AC voltages required for the operation of Bus Interface Units (BIUs), load switches, and detectors in a TS2 Type 1 cabinet assembly. In addition to powering these primary components, the power supply can also support other auxiliary equipment within the terminal facilities that require similar voltage outputs. This power supply is a requirement of the TS-2 standard for all Type 1 cabinets, and its primary function is to provide 12 VDC, 24 VDC, and 12 VAC outputs, as well as a line frequency reference within TS-2 cabinets.

The power supply connector located on the front panel has a metallic shell that is connected to the chassis ground and mates with an MS3106-18-1SW cable connector or equivalent.
